Description:

Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring, managing and updating NUST’s Digital Media platforms including all NUST’s official digital & social media platforms i.e. Website (Home page); Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube; LCD; CMS & Mobile App etc.
- Ensure promotion of NUST activities, events, milestones and major news on digital media (including NUST’s website home page, social media platforms & others mentioned above).
- Identifying new avenues for social media marketing, and continuously improving the existing ones.
- Developing platform and audience-specific content strategy (text, graphics, video) for all digital platforms.
- Develop a content calendar for all social media platforms.
- Developing strategy for timely management of negative publicity on digital media.
- Managing & executing digital paid promotions.
- Content development (write ups, captions, blogs etc.).
- Liaising with design team for creating digital content.
- Taking measures for digital marketing & social media audit as well as carrying out competitive analysis.
- Performance analysis of all digital marketing campaigns.
- Periodically report performance of NUST’s website & social media platforms in comparison with those of competitors.
- Continuously monitor the internet (websites, blogs, social media, etc.) for NUST-specific news, and provide regular updates.
- Manage Weekly Web & Social Media Monitoring Report & Weekly Social Media Post Records.

Knowledge/ Skills/Abilities/
- Proficiency in web advertising and managing social media platforms
- Strong understanding of and hands-on experience in delivering effective and innovative digital campaigns
- Solid understanding of web metrics, digital analytics, with the ability to generate, analyse and interpret data
- Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills
- Ability to lead a team of young professionals
- Personal commitment to continuous development and learning
- High level of self-motivation and initiative

Terms & Conditions

- Candidates may be considered ineligible for the post due to any of the following reasons:
- 3rd Div in academic career / weak academic profile.
- NUST employees with less than two years’ service with NUST and / or absence of NOC from Head of Institution.
- In process of pursuing a required degree.
- Medically unfit.
- Only selected candidates will be contacted and issued offer letter.
- Candidates serving in Govt departments, Armed forces may apply through their respective parent department / organizations. Late / incomplete applications will be ignored. Only short-listed candidates will be considered / called for test / interview and no TA / DA will be admissible.

Qualification:

- Master’s degree from renowned foreign or local institution or
- Masters in marketing, Communications or a related discipline from renowned foreign or local institution
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in relevant field.
