What you’ll do
• Responsible for government-funded R&D projects as assigned;
• Design and Development of automation workstation/ mechatronic system for the projects;
• Implementation of workstation/ mechatronic system;
• Study the new technologies and applications development trend of intelligent manufacturing so as to develop the suitable proposals accordingly
• Carry out R&D tasks against the plans and complete the projects (including R&D work, project documents, technical report and paper, patents, etc.) as scheduled with high standard
• Train up the young engineers and partnership with others in the solutions development
• Assist in organizing and delivering technical activities, such as workshops, technical seminars, training, and etc.
• Support ad hoc projects and assignments when required

Qualification:

You'll be a good fit if you have/are:
• Bachelor or above degree in STEM-related discipline such as Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, Robotics, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Information Engineering and related disciplines.
• Hands on skill in Solidworks, AutoCAD or related software toolkits.
• Hands on skill in workstation implementation, PLC programing, robot manipulation.
• Knowledge and skills in mechanical design, robotics control, automation, intelligent perception, intelligent systems and related software toolkits
• Experience or knowledge of ROS, Gazebo simulation is an advantage
• Good writing, presentation, communication and analytical skills
• Passionate, self-motivated, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Good command of both spoken and written English, Chinese (including Putonghua) preferred
