Description:
The incumbent will be responsible to develop and maintain strong business relationships ensuring that the respective business groups/stakeholders are supported through an efficient and effective business partner model and service delivery.
• Develop and maintain strong business relationships with all relevant external/internal
• stakeholders to ensure critical issues are addressed and required services are delivered in an
• effective manner.
• Manage day to day business queries and requests, facilitate employee related issues and support
• other functions of HR in an effective manner.
• Bridge/minimize existing gaps between HR and business and extend necessary support to all
• stakeholders for matters pertaining to HR
• groups/stakeholders are supported through an efficient and effective business partner model and service
• delivery.
• Partnering with business to ensure talent retention through available tools. Identify and engage
• HIPOs for retention and career growth.
• Succession planning for key positions in respective cluster/areas.
• Provide feedback on HR policies/practices and suggest changes wherever needed in order to
• align with the changing business dynamics and prevailing HR practices in the market.
• Handle grievances and conflicts within assigned areas.
• Provide advisory / counselling to staff/ stakeholders where & whenever required.
• Identify hiring gaps and provide support to Talent Acquisition team for both lateral and batch
• hiring to meet business requirement within the assigned areas.
• Represent UBL at Career Fairs, whenever required to attract and identify best talent for the Bank.
• Conduct monthly exit interviews of employees exiting from respective areas.
• Prepare and share attrition and gap analysis with respective stake holders to facilitate decisionmaking
• towards lowering the attrition.
• Support the improvement and implementation of a performance management process and
• system to promote standards and create a performance driven culture.
• Improve understanding of Performance Management and ensure its well versed among
• employees through trainings/road shows.
• Ensure timely completion of Performance management, Mid¿Year review including poor
• performance management.
• Conduct PIP sessions, develop report and share with the respective stakeholders.
• Active participation in Promotion & BMDP exercise
• Work closely with business groups to successfully run and complete outsource staff appraisal
• exercise within TAT.
• Identify training needs/requirements of respective business and share with HR training function
• for execution.
• Arrange and conduct exit interviews of voluntary resignations & ensure submission of MIS within
• TAT
• Issuance of HR related circulars and obituaries of staff at Head office and related groups
• Assist and support in submission of audit requirements and responses
• Discuss business needs for headcount for manpower planning and assisting compensation and
• benefits team in annual budget exercise
• Ensure completion of CL/NCL staff appraisal forms and submission to HR Services
• Handling resignation withdrawal, leave without pay requests
• Ensure JDs are in place and prepared in close liaison with business
Qualification:
Minimum Qualifications:
• Minimum Bachelors degree, preferably in HR discipline.
Minimum Experience:
• 2-3 years work experience, preferably in banking industry with 1-2 years experience in relationship management.
