Description:
The incumbent will be responsible to develop and maintain strong business relationships ensuring that the respective business groups/stakeholders are supported through an efficient and effective business partner model and service delivery.
β’ Develop and maintain strong business relationships with all relevant external/internal
β’ stakeholders to ensure critical issues are addressed and required services are delivered in an
β’ effective manner.
β’ Manage day to day business queries and requests, facilitate employee related issues and support
β’ other functions of HR in an effective manner.
β’ Bridge/minimize existing gaps between HR and business and extend necessary support to all
β’ stakeholders for matters pertaining to HR
β’ groups/stakeholders are supported through an efficient and effective business partner model and service
β’ delivery.
β’ Partnering with business to ensure talent retention through available tools. Identify and engage
β’ HIPOs for retention and career growth.
β’ Succession planning for key positions in respective cluster/areas.
β’ Provide feedback on HR policies/practices and suggest changes wherever needed in order to
β’ align with the changing business dynamics and prevailing HR practices in the market.
β’ Handle grievances and conflicts within assigned areas.
β’ Provide advisory / counselling to staff/ stakeholders where & whenever required.
β’ Identify hiring gaps and provide support to Talent Acquisition team for both lateral and batch
β’ hiring to meet business requirement within the assigned areas.
β’ Represent UBL at Career Fairs, whenever required to attract and identify best talent for the Bank.
β’ Conduct monthly exit interviews of employees exiting from respective areas.
β’ Prepare and share attrition and gap analysis with respective stake holders to facilitate decisionmaking
β’ towards lowering the attrition.
β’ Support the improvement and implementation of a performance management process and
β’ system to promote standards and create a performance driven culture.
β’ Improve understanding of Performance Management and ensure its well versed among
β’ employees through trainings/road shows.
β’ Ensure timely completion of Performance management, MidΒΏYear review including poor
β’ performance management.
β’ Conduct PIP sessions, develop report and share with the respective stakeholders.
β’ Active participation in Promotion & BMDP exercise
β’ Work closely with business groups to successfully run and complete outsource staff appraisal
β’ exercise within TAT.
β’ Identify training needs/requirements of respective business and share with HR training function
β’ for execution.
β’ Arrange and conduct exit interviews of voluntary resignations & ensure submission of MIS within
β’ TAT
β’ Issuance of HR related circulars and obituaries of staff at Head office and related groups
β’ Assist and support in submission of audit requirements and responses
β’ Discuss business needs for headcount for manpower planning and assisting compensation and
β’ benefits team in annual budget exercise
β’ Ensure completion of CL/NCL staff appraisal forms and submission to HR Services
β’ Handling resignation withdrawal, leave without pay requests
β’ Ensure JDs are in place and prepared in close liaison with business
Qualification:
Minimum Qualifications:
β’ Minimum Bachelors degree, preferably in HR discipline.
Minimum Experience:
β’ 2-3 years work experience, preferably in banking industry with 1-2 years experience in relationship management.
