Description:

Skills:
• should have sound knowledge and skills for operation and maintenance of SCR Rig.
• Should have sound knowledge and skills for operation, maintenance and synchronization of Diesel Gensets. (Caterpillar D-3512 & D-3406 Engineers).
• Should have sound knowledge and skills for the maintenance and troubleshooting of D.C. and A.C. Motors, Generators, Transformers, Switch Gears, Motor Starters, VFD and Electrical distribution system.
• Should have sound knowledge of repairing and maintenance of air conditioners.
• Should have sound understanding and safety standards and procedures related to Rig Operations and Oil and Gas sector.
• Capable of working in remote (Fields) area.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Maintenance / Troubleshooting of transformers, Generators, Breakers, Switch Gears and VFD.
• Maintenance / Troubleshooting of D.C. & A.C. Motors and Electrical systems.
• Maintenance / Troubleshooting of SCR at Rig. (GE experience is preferable).
• Maintenance / Troubleshooting of Air Conditioners.
• Understanding of equipment for hazardous areas classification.
• Maintenance records, documentation and report writing of electrical equipment.
• Identify, investigate and rectify Electrical breakdowns or tripping.
• Diagnose the facts and root cause of emergencies and prepare mitigation plans.
• Prepare and manage preventive maintenance plans of electrical system.
• Re-ordering levels of parts in hand for emergencies and preventive and routine maintenance.
• Identify and manage the resources required for the project.
• Maintain up to date documentation for OGRA, OHSAS and CIM Audits.

Qualification:

• DAE (Electrical)

Experience:
• Minimum 05 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas and SCR Drilling Rigs.
