Description:

Applications are invited to the Project Research Assistant under SHEC project # SHEC/SRSP/ A.AE 10/68/2022-23 entitled ‘Improving rice productivity in the saline area of Pakistan through screening exotic and indigenous rice genotypes’ with the following terms and conditions.

Duration/Honorarium
• 24 Months @ Rs. 15000 PKR fixed per month. The awardee will sign a bond for the duration of the project.

Responsibilities:
• The candidate will be responsible for sample collection, experimental work of the project, data compilation, analysis, writing of papers and proper maintenance of stock registrar or any other day-today activities assigned by the PI.

Qualification:

• Agriculture graduate student who has completed his/her M.Sc. in the field of Plant Breeding and Genetics.
• Preference will be given to those whose master’s research work was on rice crop.

Experience
• Candidates having at least one year experience in rice crop will be preferred.
• Experience in collection of data, crop management and field evaluation is required.
