What you’ll do:
• Design and develop machine learning/deep learning models for Semantic/Instance Segmentation, Anomaly Detection and Entity Classification, identify potential solutions for industries’ productivity improvement and updating
• Propose and evaluate technical ideas with other functional units to provide desired solutions against the requirements and demands from industrial partners
• Define the technical development roadmap of computer vision applications including R&D tasks and implementation plan
• Lead project team to carry out R&D tasks according to the plans and complete the projects (including R&D work, project documents, technical report and paper, patents, etc.) as scheduled with high standard, including coaching other research staff to undertake development works
• Build up and maintain a good network with professional organizations in order to known about new technical trends and create synergies

Qualification:

• Master or above Degree from disciplines such as Mathematics, Computer Engineering, AI, Computer Science, Data Sciences, Intelligent Systems or equivalent from a local university or world top 100 university
• 7 years or more hands-on project experience in Machine Vision Inspection, Image Processing, Deep Learning, Data engineering and related areas preferred
• Proficient hands-on experience and ability in related programming languages, such as Python, C/C++, java, as well as deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, Keras and PyTorch
• Experience with OpenCV and deep learning models including CNN, RNN, YOLO, Transformers for object segmentation and classification will be a plus
• Experience in using JIRA, Bitbucket, Confluence for project development. Experience as Scrum Master is a plus.
• Experience in DevOps (including AWS, Docker, K8S, CI/CD, Model deployment, workflow engine) is a plus.
• Experience in developing industrial grade software, preferably in the Manufacturing Industry
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to align efforts of disparate groups to achieve a common goal
• Good presentation, communication and interpersonal skills and responsible
• Passionate, self-motivated, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Good command of both spoken and written English, Chinese (including Putonghua) preferred
