Description:

The [School of Workforce Development, Continuing Education & Online Learning](https://www.conestogac.on.ca/workforce-development-continuing-education-and-online-learning/programs) is currently seeking qualified professionals as Part-time Curriculum Developers to complete the development of new courses in the [Fraud Investigation and Risk Management](https://www.conestogac.on.ca/fulltime/fraud-investigation-and-risk-management) graduate certificate program.

The successful applicants will be subject matter experts in one or more of the following areas:

- Fraud Prevention and Risk Management
- Risk Analysis, Auditing and Reporting
- Conflict Management and Resolution

No prior curriculum development experience is required as Curriculum Developers follow the College’s guidelines and processes and receive instructional design and technical support throughout their work.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate and build relations with other Curriculum Developers, the program team and supporting department services
- Attend training and regular meetings as required
- Develop course outlines for courses, including course topics and outcomes, accreditation and program outcomes alignment and evaluation matrix
- Review and source course resources such as textbooks, etc.
- Develop all curriculum content, such as PowerPoint slides, detailed assessments, rubrics, teaching materials and activities and weekly lesson structures
- Engage in final review and sign-off of each course module according to College processes

Qualification:

- Minimum three-year Diploma or Degree in Business or related field of study
- Minimum five years of direct experience risk management is required, including experience analyzing fraud data, evaluating fraud risk, and/or implementing fraud prevention strategies
- Experience teaching in adult education contexts is an asset
- Demonstrated capability to write and create text-based and multi-media learning materials
- Superior time and project management skills to meet required deadlines
- Excellent computer skills
- Knowledge and experience using course/learning management systems (e.g., D2L) is an asset
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, intercultural, and collaborative skills
- Able to work independently with little direct supervision 
- Strong commitment to academic excellence, student success, and ability to support Conestoga’s continuous quality improvement initiatives
