Description:

Services of Coder are required at Electronic Medical Records department of Recep Tayyip Erdogan Hospital, Muzaffargarh.

The job responsibilities of Coder at Recep Tayyip Erdogan Hospital, Muzaffargarh are:
1- Responsible for coding and abstracting of Inpatient and daycare discharges according to prescribed classification / procedure.
2- Code Inpatient/Outpatient and day care discharges using coding classification .
3- Prepare standard reports from coded / abstract data .
4- Participates in clinical audit meetings to enhance accuracy of coding and rectifies anomalies in the existing abstract
5- Update histopathology of coded charts daily
6- Monthly update daycare and inpatient discharges report
7- Monthly update discharges report on the basis of specialty
8- Trace and code backlog discharges

Any other task that is assigned by the Head / Assistant Manager coding

Qualification:

• M.Sc. Physiology preferably Microbiology

Experience:
• Minimum 1 year relevant experience
