• Position: Production Manager (m/f/d) - Specialty Chemicals
• Location: Langweid am Lech, Bavaria, Germany

We are looking for an experienced chemist/chemical engineer (m/f/d) for our Langweid site to manage and further develop the production area as part of the succession as

Following are the key responsibilities:
• Safe and agile production of a complex portfolio of specialty chemicals at the Langweid site
• Responsibility for sustainable operation, SHE as well as plant and process safety
• Leading and developing the production team and leading cross-functional projects/programs
• Core member of the Site Leadership Team for the development and implementation of the location strategy
• Ensuring optimal production planning through close integration with the supply chain
• Responsibility for production, quality and cost results
• Technological and organizational optimization of production processes and procedures
• Cooperation with all functions at the site or worldwide

Qualification:

• Successfully completed university studies in the fields of chemistry, chemical engineering/process engineering or comparable qualification
• In-depth expertise in the field of chemical production processes, technology, control engineering and plant safety (Process Safety Management)
• Several years of professional experience in the management team of chemical production plants, ideally in batch operation
• Excellent, demonstrated leadership skills
• High level of self-motivation and ability to work in a team with excellent communication skills
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills
• Good knowledge of SAP
