United Bank Limited (UBL) has announced job vacancy of Head - Monitoring & Reporting at Karachi.

The job responsibilities of Head - Monitoring & Reporting at United Bank Limited (UBL) are:
• Manage reporting and communication to the Bank's Board Audit Committee and Control Committee.
• Prepare and collate all deliverables to the Bank's Board Audit Committee and Senior Management forums.
• Develop and manage excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders (including relevant regulators) and conduct regular meetings together with proper record of the meetings and track of relevant actions.
• Provide value added recommendations to Senior Management to ensure improvement in existing processes, operational efficiency, and cost reduction.
• Prepare Audit Group's Annual Audit Plan on a risk-based methodology for review and approval of the Bank's Board Audit Committee, including reporting on progress against the Annual Audit Plan of the Audit Group.
• Prepare Annual Financial Budget of the Audit Group. Analyse monthly performance of Audit Group against the approved budget.
• Utilize repository of audit observations/significant findings highlighted in audit/review reports/management audits for development of meaningful MIS for reporting to Senior Management & Bank's Board Audit Committee.
• Prepare information on activities of the Audit Group for periodical performance review meetings of the Group.
• Manage MIS function and supervise overall MIS system of the Audit Group.
• Supervise administrative and HR functions performed within the Audit Group including coordination with Human Resource Group and other groups for matters relating to staff. Ensure optimum utilization of resources available to the Audit Group.
• Coordinate and perform validation of SBP Inspection Reports observations.
• Supervise the ongoing upgradation of eAudit system.
• Timely delivery of information to the external and internal customers of the Bank.

Qualification:

• Qualified CA/Part-qualified CA/ACMA/ACCA/CIMA/M.Com/Masters/ CIA or equivalent.
• Experience of working as secretary to management committee for controls, managing reporting and communication to the Bank’s BAC and Control Committee.
• 5-7 years of experience with strong knowledge of Banking/Centralized Operations/Internal controls/Operation/Governance/Risk/Compliance and/or relevant experience, preferably in internal auditing.
• Preference will also be given to individuals with experience working in an external audit firm, company secretary office, managing management committees as a secretary, or in an Internal Audit function.
• Proficiency in office management applications/bank's systems/CAATs.
• Preferably, candidates should have experience in Internal Audit, with knowledge of the latest internal audit methodologies
