Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation (KW&SC), Pakistan's leading public sector utility, serves the people of Karachi metropolitan area, and is responsible for ensuring clean, safe drinking water and sewerage services to the general public. The organization is implementing an ambitious plan of institutional reforms aimed at making it an operationally efficient, service-oriented and financially viable entity. In order to achieve this ambitious turnaround, the Board of KW&SC is seeking the services of dynamic and committed individuals to lead the organization.

The Board is looking for high caliber professionals with a record of successfully leading public or private sector organization(s). The candidates should have a history of significant achievements that contributed to the growth, profitability or reputation of the organization. Prior experience of institutional transformation and change management would be an added advantage.

Legal Specialist in PPP Node of KW&SC
The Legal Specialist in PPP Node shall be responsible to Perform in-depth legal research / analysis and offer sound advice on all PPP transactions project documents and agreements. He/she shall assist in the development and implementation of Legal Documents such as RFQ, RFP and Concession Agreement pertaining to PPP projects, policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks for the PPP projects of the Corporation as per the Act, Rules and Regulations of the utility. He/she shall also stay informed about the legal framework around PPP projects relevant to the water sector and provide recommendations for compliance and risk mitigation.

Qualification:

• Masters in Law L.L.M / Bar-at-Law / Bachelor of Law L.L.B from a reputable institution/university recognized by HEC.
• Preference will be given to candidates Licensed to practice law in Pakistan with a valid Bar Council membership.
• At least 12 years of increasingly responsible professional experience in any public or private sector entity with at least 3 years' experience as Legal Specialist.
• Maximum age limit 50 years.
