United Bank Limited (UBL) has announced job vacancy of Assistant Policy Manager - Unsecured & Merchant Acquiring Products - Risk & Credit Policy at Karachi.

The job responsibilities of Assistant Policy Manager - Unsecured & Merchant Acquiring Products - Risk & Credit Policy at United Bank Limited (UBL) are:
The incumbent will be responsible for assisting Policy Head in designing and implementing credit policies / credit procedures for Unsecured & Acquiring Products.
• Assist Policy head in designing and implementing policies for unsecured and merchant acquiring products.
• Assist Policy head in timely renewal of Product Policy Manuals (PPMs).
• Incorporate cross functional feedback while renewing PPMs.
• Assist policy head in evaluating business proposals.
• Review cases where deviation / exception is required by Policy head / Consumer Credit Head.
• Review fraud write-off files requiring approval from Consumer Credit Head.
• Review routine maintenance activities / customer requests routed to policy for decision required by Policy Head / Consumer Credit Head.
• Perform periodic portfolio health check
• Assist Policy head in automating the lending process at maximum possible to ensure controls over processing.
• Assist Policy head in ensuring key risk parameters are captured in system for monitoring purposes.
• Review sample of booked cases on a periodic basis to ensure that policies laid down in the PPM are adhered to and highlight anomalies to Policy head.
• Ensure that portfolio caps are monitored and adhered where applicable.
• Reconcile Application & Behavioural scores generated vs the scoring model on a periodic basis to ensure that the score generated are error free.
• Assist policy head in implementing SBP guidelines
• Assist policy head in ensuring compliance to observations raised by Internal & External Audit
• Provide frequent clarity to cross functional units to guidelines issued to avoid any sort of credit / regulatory risks.

Qualification:

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors’ degree (Preferably Masters’)

Minimum Experience:
- At least 2-3 years of working experience in consumer banking

Job Specific Skills:
- Proficient in MS-office
- Analytical Skills
- Able to Multitask
