Description:
Community Health Directorate (CHD) has announced job vacancy of Consultant (Punjab Based) at Family Medicine & Community Health department.
The job responsibilities of Consultant (Punjab Based) at Community Health Directorate (CHD) are:
• Strategic planning of the department in view of the institutional goals
• Formulating clinical goals and predicted annual volume of work/ budget of the department.
• Rationalize resources with workload and formulate their JDs.
• Review appropriate time allocation and task delivery by employees within the department.
• Review departmental progress on monthly basis through reviewing Volumes, Quality indicators and Cost-effectiveness.
• Review morbidity and mortality with department faculty and PG trainees as per institutional guidelines and sharing minutes with the Chair.
• Ensure accountability within the department and take appropriate corrective actions wherever necessary.
• Ensure inter/intra departmental teamwork like nursing, medical staff, management etc.
• Assist Service Line Chair in Continuous Physician Assessment/appraisals
• Engage with support services through Clinical Services Management department wherever necessary
• Formulation & Implementation of Clinical practice guidelines and pathways
• Quality improvement initiatives for the department with QIPS
• Ensure conducting CMEs regularly as per guidelines set by CME committee Liaison with Residency Program Director to ensure quality teaching and training of postgraduates
• Perform any relevant activities assigned by the Medical Director or Service Line Chair e.g., develop new policies, investigate new technology, evaluate a department-specific matter, etc.
Qualification:
• FCPS/MRCP/MRCS or Equivalent
Experience:
• Minimum 2 - 3 years of relevant experience
