Multan Institute of Kidney Diseases has announced job vacancy of Deputy Manager at Infection Control department.
The job responsibilities of Deputy Manager at Multan Institute of Kidney Diseases are:
• The Deputy Manager Infection Control will be conversant with the infection hazards of all patient care services in order to be able to recommend and evaluate the effect of prevention strategies With the emphasis on improvement and publicly reported data the Assistant Manager Infection Control will possess a heightened ability to provide statistical analysis of data, be knowledgeable regarding IHN data management and evaluate and implement prevention strategies.
• Attend IC meetings to report on infection prevention and control issues.
• Ensure that the requirements of decontamination guidance are in place and adhered to through implementation of appropriate policies.
• Deputy Manager Infection Controlensure all Health care workers and patient involvement in Infection, prevention and control.
• Role of Assistant Manager Infection Control is to Challenge professional and organizational barriers where appropriate, in the interest of the staff and patients to reduce HCAIs.
• Challenge, where relevant, inappropriate clinical practice.
• Influence the allocation of resources required to minimize the risk of HCAIS.
• Ensure infection prevention and control is included in all job descriptions and job plans, is a mandatory component of Continuing Professional Development and is included in the appraisal of all clinical staff. Learning & Development.
Qualification:
• Bachelors / Masters (BSCN / MSCN) with Infection Control certifications
Experience:
• 6-7 years of experience with Bachelors and 5-6 years of experience with Masters
