Description:

Recep Tayyip Erdogan Hospital, Muzaffargarh has announced job vacancy of Linen Helper at Laundry Services department.

The job responsibilities of Linen Helper at Recep Tayyip Erdogan Hospital, Muzaffargarh are:
• Responsible for start time and sign off duty utilizing attendance system as well as HK-Laundry manual attendance system located within the HK-Laundry.
• Be in correct designated / approved uniform including PPEs, to avoid any hazardous problem for staff / TIH ID card while on duty.
• Examine laundry items to ensure cleanliness and service.
• Maintain records of all incoming and outgoing linen after washing.
• Collect all soiled linen and distribute clean linen from/to the ward, operation theatre, ICU, CCU, ER, OPD, dialysis etc. soiled linen must be transported to laundry in covered trolleys as per established laundry protocol.
• Maintain daily records of linen and activity reports.
• Liaise with nursing management concerning washing of ward curtains.
• Assist laundry supervisor and check / issue new staff uniform according to the requirement / sizes as per laundry protocol.
• Maintain the cleanliness of uniform room for clean environment
• Responsible for the cleaning & washing of soiled linen trolleys as and when required to maintain a clean environment.
• Ensure safety precaution for handling of infectious linen by wearing correct Laundry PPEs e.g. mask, gloves, gown, cap, goggles during sorting process and discard PPEs safely. Follow hand wash protocol before and after handling of soiled linen.
• Complete assigned task within allotted time-bars & the time frame for each task.
• Report any lost and found item from linen during sorting exercise to immediate supervisor and forward to Safety & Security department.
• Perform all tasks assigned by the Laundry Coordinator / Officer.
