The University of Ottawa invites applications for appointment to a tenure-stream Assistant or Associate Professor position with expertise within the broad framework of Chemistry. This position is located on the traditional and unceded territory of the Anishinabe-Algonquin people.


The Department of Chemistry and Biomolecular Sciences at the University of Ottawa provides a thriving research environment with state-of-the-art research facilities (more information on Core Facilities and Research Centers can be found at: Research and innovation | University of Ottawa (uottawa.ca)

Rank and salary: Regular tenure-track academic appointment in the Faculty of Science, with a salary consistent with the collective agreement of the Association of Professors of the University of Ottawa.

• A research plan demonstrating a strong commitment to research excellence (5 pages maximum, including short executive summary);
