Job Description / Notes:

• Job Responsibilities: Collect blood and other specimens as per doctor’s request and ensure timely ward collections. Generate IRS, confirm specimen collection, and reject samples that do not meet SOP criteria. Maintain phlebotomy equipment, perform monthly analyzer maintenance, and report issues to Biomedical/Engineering teams. Ensure proper sharp disposal and maintain cleanliness of the phlebotomy and collection areas. Maintain weekly stock levels and ensure availability of all consumables. Accurately maintain collection data and follow all safety, infection control, and SOP guidelines. Participate in blood donation camps and outreach drives to perform donor blood collection as per blood bank SOPs.
