Job Description & Summary In the TRS Accounting team at PwC Poland, we provide comprehensive accounting and tax services to clients from various sectors. We engage in interesting and diverse projects, such as preparing financial statements for audit, tax settlements based on client data, and secondments to client finance departments. We continuously improve our work through the automation of repetitive processes and the implementation of new technological solutions. We are looking for a Manager to join our team. Your future role will include:
- Leading accounting and tax projects
- Supervising the keeping of accounting books
- Supervising corporate tax settlements (CIT, VAT, etc.)
- Verifying the correctness of financial statements
- Supporting the preparation of reports, analyses, and presentations for clients and internal needs
- Ensuring compliance of books and settlements with the requirements of the Accounting Act and tax laws
- Involvement in other interesting projects in the area of finance
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients, identifying their needs, and developing sales of accounting and tax services
- Cooperating with specialists from other PwC departments for comprehensive client support
- Managing the project team
- Recruitment and supporting the professional development of less experienced team members
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an accounting services firm gained in project execution and management or in a managerial position in an accounting department
- Very good knowledge of English; knowledge of other languages will be an asset
- Broad knowledge in the field of accounting and CIT and VAT taxes
- Experience in working with clients and in managing and coordinating team work
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel
- Familiarity with new technologies and AI-based tools in daily work (e.g., task automation, information analysis, content creation)
- Analytical skills and the ability to identify problems and seek solutions
- Proactive attitude and ability to work in a team
- Excellent organizational skills, easily establish and maintain contacts
