This position involves managing and maintaining network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security for IT operations. Key responsibilities for this dynamic role include:
- Network equipment setup and management, covering critical components such as Switch, Router, Firewall, Load Balancer, and Wireless Network systems.
- Performing comprehensive network monitoring and traffic analysis, anomaly detection, and fine-tuning for optimal performance using tools like SNMP, NetFlow, and Syslog.
- Collaborating effectively with vendors for software and hardware maintenance, proactive troubleshooting, and leading strategic equipment replacement and upgrade projects to enhance network capabilities.
- Providing expert consultation and support for software and hardware usage, efficiently troubleshooting issues, and implementing crucial system security updates to protect against vulnerabilities.
- Facilitating clear communication by reporting system issues to international colleagues and ensuring effective resolution across teams.
