Role Overview:
This is a post for a highly motivated and committed individual to undertake a key role as a consultant dental surgeon for one year. The post is based at the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital & Research Centre, Lahore. The individual will be expected to provide dental restorative services and preventive dental care to our patients. The appointee will be expected to ensure provision of dynamic and efficient dental services based on the principles of multi-disciplinary treatment plans.
He/she will also be expected to diagnose and treat diseases and injuries of dentition, as well as of related oral structures. He/she should be comfortable with treating patients who are on chemo-radiotherapy or due for bone marrow transplant.
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
- FCPS (Restorative/Operative/Endodontics) with five years of related experience. (An equivalent overseas qualification would be an advantage)
- Ability to undertake dental procedures independently
- Good computer and communication skills
- Full registration with the PMC/PMDC
General Conditions:
