This role is within the Line of Service Advisory, Industry/Sector Not Applicable, Specialism Advisory - Other Management, at PwC. The primary responsibility of this Manager role is to lead and manage technology projects linked to Workday and HC Talent applications throughout their entire lifecycle: initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, and closing. The Manager will serve as the main point of contact for the project, guiding the team and ensuring daily operations and coordination among all involved parties. This includes managing the project's calendar, budget, resources, scope, risks, issues, and communications, as well as reporting on progress and status. The role also involves participating in the financial management of clients and projects, carrying out discovery activities to identify new opportunities, requirements, and improvements. Collaboration with Product Leads, business teams, key stakeholders, and technical teams during all project stages is crucial. The Manager will develop strategies to resolve complex technical challenges within the Workday ecosystem, and also train, capacitate, and supervise assigned personnel and resources. Staying updated on economic, technological, and business trends relevant to the area, and contributing to the development of internal relationships and strengthening the PwC brand are also key aspects of this position.
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
- Demonstrable experience in technology project management, including the use of project management tools, methodologies, and processes.
- Previous experience leading the delivery of complex projects in global or multicultural environments.
- Specific experience in Workday implementation or delivery is valued, especially in modules such as HCM, Talent, Recruiting, or Integrations.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including workshop facilitation and coordination among multiple stakeholders.
- Superior ability for decision-making, problem-solving, and managing situations under pressure.
- High discipline, personal organization, and attention to detail.
- Experience leading teams or managing multidisciplinary resources.
- Availability to work flexible hours to interact with global teams in different time zones.
- Experience working with people from different countries, especially non-native English speakers.
- Understanding the importance of correct information management.
