Department: Family Medicine
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
- Qualification: Bachelors (Background of degree in the field of health sciences or Social science with experience in health or related field)
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years relevant Experience
Notes:
● Conduct mass screening for depression/anxiety at both facility and community levels
● Provide lay counseling and support to individuals found positive for depression/anxiety
● Maintain excellent records of client treatment progress.
● Establish a safe environment for people to discuss their personal issues
● Provide counseling to family members (if needed) of people with depression/anxiety
● Make home visits as required
● Conduct community mobilization activities, as required, for awareness-raising sessions
● Carry out research activities (data collection) as required by the program
● Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all patients, conversations, referrals, etc.
● Perform other related duties as required
