Role Overview:
Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital & Research Centre, Lahore invites applications for a two-year fellowship in Breast Surgery. The program provides comprehensive training in the diagnosis, management, and surgical treatment of breast diseases, including breast cancer, within a multidisciplinary care setting.
Trainees will gain hands-on experience in key procedures such as lumpectomy, mastectomy, sentinel lymph node biopsy, and axillary dissection, along with exposure to non-surgical management. The fellowship also includes a strong research component, requiring participation in research projects and academic activities.
Job Description:
- This is a two-year CPSP approved training program.
- The selected candidate will be involved in patient care across outpatient clinics, inpatient floors, and in the operation theatres.
- will participate in an on-call rota for the assessment and management of breast and general surgery patients.
- will be required to engage in the academic activities of the department, including presentations, research, audits, and teaching junior doctors and nurses.
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
- MBBS
- FCPS or CPSP-approved equivalent qualification in General Surgery
- Registered with PMDC
