About the Role Step into a unique opportunity with our M&A tax team, as part of our wider Tax and Legal practice. As a Real Estate Tax Manager, you’ll provide specialized tax consultation to an array of clients - from large Real Estate investment trusts/funds, developers to institutional investors, corporate stakeholders, and high net-worth property owners, both in Belgium and internationally. In this role, you’ll harness your expertise to deliver innovative solutions, premium service and bring new ideas as we continue delivering best in class real estate tax services.
What Your Days Will Look Like Embark on a dynamic role centred around Real Estate tax-related challenges, including general tax consulting. You will:
- Manage a diverse portfolio of clients.
- Offer strategic advice on complex scenarios like tax structuring, investment and disposal, property acquisition/development, due diligence, and investment vehicles.
- Assist clients in navigating the complexities of real estate taxation.
- Work alongside a multidisciplinary team, engaging with colleagues from different backgrounds, whether in Belgium and globally.
- Lead, delegate, and guide (senior) associates while reporting to Directors and/or Engagement Leaders.
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
- Possessing 4-6 years of experience in tax advisory services, specifically within the real estate sector.
- An expert in Belgian tax regulations, complemented by international tax knowledge.
- Used to providing insightful, innovative solutions to a varied client base.
- Exceptional at analyzing complex tax legislation, simplifying it for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Skilled at identifying potential opportunities and risks for clients.
- Experienced in managing relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- A proactive problem solver, dedicated to continuous learning about industry advancements and legislative modifications.
- A natural team player with a collaborative spirit, thriving in multidisciplinary environments.
- Fluent in French, with professional proficiency in English and Dutch.
