Eligibility / Qualification Required:
Our client, a highly respected Dubai-based organisation operating within a complex and intellectually rigorous financial services environment, is seeking to appoint an experienced and strategically minded Associate Director of Corporate Communications. This is a pivotal role, responsible for shaping and delivering a robust corporate affairs agenda that aligns closely with organisational priorities, while safeguarding reputation and strengthening brand presence across a complex stakeholder landscape.
Working in close partnership with senior leadership, you will play a key role in the development and execution of both short and long-term communications strategies, ensuring alignment with overarching corporate objectives. You will bring a thoughtful and measured approach to corporate communications, overseeing all aspects including government relations, media engagement and social channels, as well as the delivery of high-profile events and executive communications. A strong emphasis is placed on the creation of high-quality, consistent and impactful content across multiple platforms, alongside the ongoing evaluation of brand and reputation performance.
This position requires a sophisticated understanding of stakeholder engagement at the highest levels. You will be expected to build and maintain trusted relationships with government entities, regulators and media, while confidently managing sensitive communications and leading on crisis response when required. In addition, you will support broader organisational initiatives including CSR and change management, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Requirements:
The successful individual will be an accomplished communications professional with a minimum of ten years’ experience gained within government, multinational or highly regulated environments. A deep understanding of the regional landscape, particularly within the UAE, is essential, alongside exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both English and Arabic. You will be a natural influencer, comfortable operating as a spokesperson and advisor at senior level, with the ability to navigate complexity, manage competing priorities and deliver with precision.
