The Capital Markets team at PwC Poland is a group of experts dealing with broadly understood advisory in the area of capital markets. Our competencies include supporting clients in preparations and in the process of conducting debt and equity transactions on capital markets. We are looking for a Manager in our Capital Markets team.Your future role:
  • Project management: Leading transactional and accounting advisory projects, with particular emphasis on capital market transactions, including IPO/SPO and debt transactions.
  • Audit support: Cooperation with audit teams in carrying out the tasks of a statutory auditor, including analysis of transactional documentation such as prospectuses or information memoranda, analysis of the form and content of financial disclosures in transactional documentation; issuing comfort letters, reporting on pro forma information.
  • Coordination of transactional processes: Managing communication with legal advisors, investment banks, and clients to ensure effective transaction flow.
  • Strategic advisory: Participation in projects assessing companies' readiness for IPO, due diligence, restructuring, and exit from investments, with an emphasis on strategic advisory for management boards.
  • International standards: Practical application of Polish and international accounting standards, with particular emphasis on IFRS.
  • Cooperation with specialists from other PwC departments: Within an interdisciplinary transactional team dedicated to comprehensive client support.
  • Building business relationships: Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and active participation in business development.

Eligibility / Qualification Required:

  • You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a consulting or related financial-accounting firm, gained in transactional advisory projects, and in the area of financial accounting and reporting.
  • You have several years of experience in project management.
  • You demonstrate initiative and a desire to build new business perspectives in the area of accounting and transactional advisory.
  • You have very good teamwork skills and experience in project work.
  • You demonstrate knowledge of new technologies and AI-based tools in daily work (e.g., task automation, information analysis, content preparation).
  • You are independent in action and organize your work well.
  • You possess advanced knowledge of financial accounting standards IAS/IFRS (and in particular IFRS 15, IFRS 16, IFRS 3, IFRS 9).
  • You are fluent in English.
  • You have excellent knowledge of the Ms Office suite, especially MS Excel.

Preferred:

  • Professional qualifications (PIBR, ACCA, CFA) or an advanced stage of obtaining them.
