Role Overview:

Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital & Research Centre requires the services of a full-time Consultant Palliative Medicine in the Internal medicine department. The appointed individual will be expected to provide ongoing clinical care and expertise in the management of paediatric cancer patients on palliation. The appointee will be expected to participate actively in the teaching and training programmes for junior doctors in the department and also to liaise closely with physicians in other specialties, as well as, with other staff within the hospital.

Eligibility / Qualification Required:

• MBBS
• MRCP, FRCS, FRCR, FCA, MRCPath (or other appropriate qualification), together with evidence of completion of speciality training.
• American Boards, with appropriate sub-speciality boards where applicable.
• FCPS with evidence of completion of speciality training, appropriate sub-speciality qualification, where applicable and a minimum of three years of approved overseas experience
• Full and unencumbered registration with the PMDC
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
