Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities:
- To drive digital transformation initiatives and achieve competitive positioning.
- To develop competitive positioning strategies.
- Stakeholder Management & Communication:
- To manage communication at all levels within and outside the organization.
- To present strategic initiatives and business cases to various forums/stakeholders.
- To lead external stakeholder relationships, including regulators, partners, and vendors.
- To represent the organization in industry forums and associations.
- Business Development & Merchant Strategy:
- To develop and execute comprehensive corporate and high-volume merchants strategy.
- To drive market expansion across different segments and geographies.
- To establish go-to-market strategies for new products and services.
- To oversee merchant acquisition targets and performance.
- Compliance & Risk Management:
- To ensure strict compliance with SBP regulations, internal policies, and procedures for all transactions.
- To implement robust risk management frameworks and controls.
- To monitor transaction trends, fraud patterns, and security risks.
- To ensure adherence to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF) guidelines.
- Cross-functional Leadership & Operations:
- To coordinate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Operations, Marketing, and Legal, for smooth operations.
- To lead collaboration with IT, Operations, and other departments for product development and service delivery.
- To ensure seamless integration between different systems and processes.
- To drive operational excellence across all business functions.
- Team Leadership & Performance Management:
- To supervise Unit Heads for Digital Products, Payments, and other relevant areas.
- To set performance targets and KPIs for the team and individual members.
- To provide strategic guidance and mentorship to the team.
- To drive talent development and capability building initiatives.
- To perform any other assignments as assigned by the Management.
