Eligibility / Qualification Required:

Job Summary:
This position is responsible to make all purchases for Head Office & Factories and ensure on time availability of all materials and supplies .This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process, negotiating contracts, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies. The Manager – Purchase will support the supply chain leadership in achieving operational excellence and cost optimization objectives.Job Description:
• Plan and procure all raw-materials, chemicals, pigments, boot films, zipper, latex, calcium carbonate, polythene stationery, general store items, mechanical spare parts and all other items required at Mirpur factories to ensure smooth flow of production process.
• Prepare and process purchase orders for the items to be procured.
• Locate vendors of materials, equipment and supplies, and interview them in order to determine product availability and terms of sales.
• Represent company in negotiating contracts and formulating policies with suppliers.
• Follow up with vendors rigorously to ensure on time delivery of supplies.
• Resolve vendor or contractor grievances and claims.
• Review purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.
• Participate in the development of specifications for equipment, products or substitute materials.
• Analyze market and delivery systems in order to assess and present future material availability.
• Control purchasing department budgets.
• Maintain vendor wise detailed record of goods ordered and received.
• Obtain quotations for procurement of supplies as and when required by the established company procedure and present comparative analysis to management for approval.
• Follow up with accounts department to ensure on time payments to vendors.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, quality standards, and statutory regulations.
• Standardize procurement procedures and documentation.
• Recommend and implement process improvements for efficiency and transparency.
• Any other task assigned by the management related to Purchase Planning and Material Control.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Education:                   BBA / MBA Supply Chain or any other equivalent qualification
Experience:                 10 to 12 years of relevant experience in a large scale manufacturing concern
