About the role of Assistant Restaurant Manager The Restaurant Assistant Manager supports the Restaurant Manager in daily operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and customer-focused service. This role involves supervising staff, assisting in administrative tasks, maintaining high-quality standards in food and service, and ensuring an excellent guest experience. The Assistant Manager acts as a leader on the floor and a key point of contact when the Restaurant Manager is unavailable. What you will do: Assist with day-to-day operations including opening/closing procedures. Monitor performance, provide guidance, and help motivate team members. Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and promptly. Assist in monitoring daily sales, labor costs, and other KPIs. Help with stock control, inventory checks, and ordering supplies. Follow cash handling and reconciliation procedures. Maintain staff schedules in coordination with the Restaurant Manager. What you bring: Fluency in Spanish and English is required for this position A minimum of three (3) years working in Food & Beverage in a Leadership role Two (2) + years’ experience working within a luxury hotel or similar environment is considered an asset Requires Knowledge in Micros and Opera System Knowledge of food safety standards and health regulations Basic understanding of financials (e.g. labor cost, P&L, inventory) Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Requires knowledge of how to operate computer equipment What we offer: Compensation: Highly competitive salaries as well as an annual incentive plan for managerial roles at Department Head level Transport: Shuttle service from San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo to the resort Uniforms: Complimentary Dry Cleaning for Employee Uniforms Training & Development: In-house training workshops for line and management employees Recognition: Employee Service Awards as well as Employee of the Month & Employee of the Year Awards Service Culture Four Seasons consistently ranks among the world's best hotels and most prestigious brands in reader polls, traveler reviews and industry awards.
