Energy & Infrastructure M&A. We are currently seeking
Senior Associates for our Energy & Infrastructure M&A team, an integral part of the Corporate Finance team at PwC. We prioritize sector-focused teams to meet client needs. This role involves M&A advisory, including company acquisitions, sales, and capital raising, within critical energy and infrastructure sectors such as solar and wind energy, batteries, electrification, biogas, regulated assets, fiber, data centers, and energy trading. We advise a diverse client base, from private and public actors to major pension funds and infrastructure funds, combining strong local sector knowledge with PwC’s international, market-leading Corporate Finance platform. Due to continued high demand, we are expanding our team in
Copenhagen.
As a
Senior Associate in
Energy M&A, you will play a central role in executing live M&A mandates, including:
- Preparation and coordination of presentation and sales material, including pitches and board presentations.
- Project management and stakeholder management for M&A processes.
- Valuations and financial, strategic, and market analyses.
- Sparring, training, and coordination of Associates and Analysts within the team.
You will be involved in client meetings and pitches from the start, experiencing a steep learning curve, a fast pace, and significant professional development. Eligibility / Qualification Required:
We would like to hear from you if you have 1–4 years of experience from a similar role within corporate finance, private equity, or a related transaction environment – in Denmark or internationally. You have solid
M&A experience and are ready to quickly take responsibility for project management and execution of complex processes in close collaboration with both clients and colleagues. We particularly emphasize that you:
- Have an economic master's degree (f.eks. cand.merc., cand.polit. or cand.oecon.) with a solid foundation in financing and accounting.
- Have practical experience with M&A processes from start to finish, including process management, coordination of stakeholders, and execution of transactions.
- Possess strong competencies in financial modeling, valuation, and building investment cases and equity stories.
- Are analytically strong, detail-oriented, and able to communicate complex issues clearly and precisely, both orally and in writing, in Danish and English.
- Thrive in a professionally collaborative environment and have experience with – or interest in – coordinating and sparring with younger colleagues.
Experience from the
energy and infrastructure sectors is an advantage, but not a requirement.
