Eligibility / Qualification Required:
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a local or international university / college / institute recognized in Pakistan. A Master's degree or any other professional certification(s) will be preferred.
- Experience: 03 years working experience in compliance and/or controls, out of which 03 years must be in a CFT, Sanction Screening, TBML, or Trade Operations relevant field.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Sound interpersonal and analytics skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and AML tools
- Strong understanding of banking operations / SBP regulations and banking laws
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to accomplish tasks with strict deadlines
Key Responsibilities / Expertise Areas:
- Evaluate compliance professionals of the Wing, ensuring continuous excellence.
- Develop the Bank's Correspondent Banking and TBML frameworks to ensure requirements and industry best practices.
- Provide advisories to trade operations and the business team on high-risk / complex trade ML / TF perspective.
- Conduct pre and post review of trade transactions to detect suspicious activities / timely STR filing to FMU.
- Conduct reviews for onboarding / continuing relations with Financial Institutions (i.e. Foreign Banks, Tie-ups, Exchange Companies, etc.).
- Perform risk and typology analysis to identify emerging TBML risks and implement controls.
- Provide support to Business and Trade Operations on high-risk trade transactions and conduct analysis and assessments of system controls to strengthen the trade-related risk.
- Design and testing of automated trade monitoring scenarios and sanction sensitive detection accuracy.
- Develop applications and collaborate with vendors to implement and enhance system controls for TBML.
- Develop dashboards and MIS on risk indicators and monitoring outcomes for senior management.
- Ensure regulatory reporting for FATCA, CRS, SBP reporting related to PEP, Inherent Risk.
- Provide liaison for the information arrangement related to AML / CFT Division for SBP audits, SBP inspections, and internal review exercises.
- Ensure policy, AML / CFT manual & IRAR documents are updated and maintained according to guidelines.
- Develop plans to enhance staff awareness on TBML red flags and institutional risk management as assigned by the supervisor(s).
