As part of the largest and most qualified dedicated valuation and modelling team in Luxembourg, you will advise leading alternative investment managers, institutional investors, infrastructure funds, private equity sponsors, family offices, sovereign wealth funds, and multinational corporations on complex valuation and modelling matters throughout the investment lifecycle. Recognised as a centre of excellence for portfolio valuation, our team delivers independent valuations and reviews of investment portfolios, businesses, complex securities, financial instruments, and intangible assets for financial and investor reporting, regulatory compliance, governance, and strategic decision-making. Our team also works closely with PwC Luxembourg's market-leading Assurance practice, supporting a broad range of valuation matters across audit engagements. Be a part of our team where you will:
- Carry out various assignments for valuation and modelling across different industries and situations, including portfolio valuations, business valuations, intangible valuations, complex securities valuation, and ad hoc modelling engagements;
- Prepare detailed financial modelling, business plans, financial analysis and the application of a variety of valuation methodologies;
- Assess reasonableness of valuations and financial models prepared by others;
- Assist clients with their understanding of complex financial structures;
- Apply generally accepted valuation principles, methodologies, and techniques in support of IPEV, IFRS, US GAAP and Lux GAAP;
- Perform valuation analyses of financial instruments, structured products, and complex capital structures;
- Develop independent financial models using income, market, and option-based approaches;
- Analyse complex situations and formulate practical, value-added recommendations;
- Leverage multiple data sources and stakeholder perspectives to develop robust conclusions;
- Use data and insights to support investment, governance, and reporting decisions;
- Develop a point of view on key market developments and emerging valuation trends;
- Manage multiple stakeholder perspectives and build consensus around complex issues;
- Communicate technical concepts in a clear and concise manner;

- Hold a master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field;
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with excellent command of English — German and French are strong assets, and any other European language is considered valuable;
- Have 2–5 years of professional experience in Valuation and Modelling, ideally gained within the valuation or modelling advisory team of a Big Four firm, a professional services firm (e.g., Mazars, BDO, Grant Thornton), or a specialist advisory firm (e.g., BHB Partners, Stout, VRC, Houlihan Lokey, Alvarez & Marsal, Accuracy, Eight Advisory);
- Have exposure to private capital alternative investments (e.g., private equity, infrastructure, venture capital, private debt);
- Experience in infrastructure and project finance valuation, financial modelling, transaction analysis, or investment appraisal would be highly valued;
- Demonstrate strong financial modelling skills in Microsoft Excel — capable of building three-way models and adhering to best practices (e.g., avoiding hard-coded figures and inefficient formulas such as VLOOKUP, INDIRECT, or nested IFs);
- Possess solid knowledge of financial statement analysis under IFRS, US GAAP, and/or Lux GAAP;
- Have experience with option pricing models (e.g., Black-Scholes, Binomial Trees, Monte Carlo) and/or Purchase Price Allocations (considered valuable);
