Job Description / Notes:

• To be part of a team providing 24 hour medical cover and immediate first line resuscitation to any hospital patient, visitor or staff member as required, To assist in the management of patients and provide back up support to the consultant. This position works under the supervision of Head of Campus and any other clinical faculty designated by HOD. Look after the patients requiring first needful assessment through past history ie Lab, Usg, CT Scan etc. and also advise new investigations through HMIS as per requirement. Follow HMIS patient flow system to maintain standard. Ensure proper guideline and counselling to patient. Ensure proper procedure of refer to OPD and also coordinate with OPD consultants in case of Emergency Diagnosis/dealing. Attend the patients in follow up clinic after the patients have got their labs/ investigations completed, then refer them to relevant department (Urology/ Nephrology/ ER) or discharge them from system after advising necessary medicines if needed. Tend to patients, visitors and healthcare professionals politely and efficiently dealing with any queries tactfully and discreetly, referring them to other relevant departments. Answer enquries on the telephone when called internally about any issue. Communicate with emergency incharge in case of any urgent inquiry of patient Facilitate patients when referred to their hospitals for procedures not done in MIKD. Coordinate with supervisor in case of leave and other work concerned matters Liaise with focal person filter clinic to ensure necessary stationary and other maintenance issue as per standard. Follow the guidelines /instructions given by the Nephrology/Urolog Department(s) and prioritize the patients as per the scoring system Responsible to perform any other duties assigned by supervisor/Head of Department.
