About the location: Four Seasons Resort and Residences Dominican Republic at Tropicalia will feature 95 keys and 25 branded residential homes, 8 distinct F&B outlets, all thoughtfully designed to reflect a contemporary interpretation of the Dominican Republicâs natural beauty. Wellness will be a defining pillar of the property, delivering a holistic experience that harmonizes with the natural environment while enhancing overall wellbeing through the restorative power of nature. The sustainable luxury destination is located on a 60-acre (24 hectare) site along the pristine beachfront of Playa Esmeralda in northeastern Dominican Republic, along the southern shores of Samaná Bay. A site of breathtaking natural beauty, Tropicalia is home to a diverse ecosystem of white-sand beaches; crystalline, aquamarine water and coral reefs; mountains, forests, mangroves, lagoons and rivers; a working coconut plantation; and an organic farm. Target start date for this role is September 1 What You Will Do Lead all housekeeping operations across guest rooms, public areas, residences, and back-of-house spaces Recruit, train, develop, and inspire the housekeeping team Establish departmental standards, procedures, and service protocols Drive exceptional cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction scores Manage departmental budgets, payroll, and operating expenses Oversee inventory control, linen management, and procurement processes Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards Collaborate closely with Rooms, Engineering, and other operational departments Support pre-opening planning, facility inspections, and operational readiness activities Foster a culture of engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team What You Will Bring Previous leadership experience as a Director of Housekeeping, Executive Housekeeper, or similar senior housekeeping role in a luxury hotel or resort Proven experience leading large housekeeping teams in a high-volume environment Strong understanding of luxury hospitality standards and guest expectations Experience managing departmental budgets, labor costs, and productivity measures Excellent leadership, coaching, and team development skills Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities Pre-opening experience in a luxury hotel or resort environment preferred Fluency in English required; Spanish proficiency is highly desirable Experience working in remote resort destinations and a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences through attention to detail and service excellence will be highly valued.
