Job Description:

• • Washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning fruits, vegetables, and other food items.
  • Clean and sanitize washing work surface, sinks, preparation and service counters, and all kitchen / bakery equipment including pots, pans, utensils, exhaust hoods etc.
  • Maintain cleanliness in cafeterias; wash and clean tables, chairs, utensils and all other items to provide customer services to visitors.
  • Prepare and serve beverages (hot & clod), snacks, and food at the cafeteria and official catering service areas as and when needed.
  • Assemble patient meal trays, manage food waste, garbage from the processing area; dispose of food waste and ensure the food service facility meets FSD cleaning standards.
  • Transport bulk food and trolleys; assist in the physical arrangement of the cafeteria and serving of meals at official events or in the cafeteria.
  • Assisting with tasks like mopping and sweeping the floor, refilling condiment bottles, and helping with the presentation of dishes.
  • Deliver bulk food to cafeteria and service outlets including food transportation/physical setting/serving food as and when needed.
  • Following strict food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe kitchen environment.
  • Interact professionally and courteously with patients, visitors, and hospital staff,
  • Perform any other task assigned by the immediate supervisor
