Role Overview:
This is a post for a highly motivated and committed individual to undertake a key role as Consultant Hospitalist in Internal Medicine. The post is based at one of the Hospitals of Shaukat Khanum Memorial Trust.
The appointee is expected to provide hospitalist services to patient admitted to the inpatient units, ensuring comprehensive medical care in coordination with relevant specialty team and also provide preoperative medical assessments for patients. The post-holder will be expected to participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as appropriate, and will also be expected to participate at a senior level in the development and delivery of educational programmes for internal and external candidates, as well as lead in clinical audit.
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
FCPS/FRCP/MRCP (UK) or equivalent preferably with CCST (UK) or equivalent or relevant American Board Certification
Full Registration with the PMDC.
Good teaching and presentation skills
Post training work experience and well-developed IT Skills
