The main mandate of this position is to monitor and review Re – Liquefied Natural Gas (R-LNG) invoices and payments and ensure timely payment of invoices to avoid litigation and other late fee charges. Support management in reviewing and preparing account receivables/ payables reconciliation reports pertaining to R-LNG business.
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
Fresh CA / ACMA Or ACCA / MBA preferably in Finance with at least 4 years of experience, preferably in a similar capacity.
Job Description / Responsibilities:
- Understand and aid in the project teams’ and other relevant departments understanding of contract requirements and coordinate with the project team to ensure compliance with contracts throughout the life of the relevant RLNG project(s).
- Lead teams for communication with RLNG companies regarding invoices/ payments and manage the review and selection of RLNG contractor in conjunction with management.
- Assist in communicating to the project team on the requirements of the contract and compliance monitoring.
- Prepare and initiate letters and responses to the RLNG contractor regarding various aspects of the project and contract. Prepares notices and facilitate quick responses to RLNG contractor’s inquiries.
- Participate in the preparation of management information reports pertaining to RLNG.
- Collaborate with Construction, Project Controls, and Engineering and other departments as necessary in the administration of major RLNG contracts.
- Coordinate with the project team and/or business unit and Legal function in order to ensure that legal and contractual matters are addressed efficiently and promptly.
- Respond to complex inquiries regarding contractual obligations and revisions to contracts. Prepare change order and amendment documents in conjunction with Legal department and the leadership team.
- Manage the ongoing life cycle of the agreements including any potential amendments to product/service price and/or terms and conditions, contract performance against commitments, and compliance to agreed terms.
- Develop and integrate contract management tools, templates, methods and processes.
- The individual shall ensure compliance to the Enterprise Risk Management Framework enforced in the Company while performing job responsibilities in accordance with his assigned role.
- The individual shall ensure compliance to the Business Principles and Ethics Policy / Code of Conduct.
- Undertake any other assignment as instructed by immediate supervisor.
