Eligibility Criteria
PhD in Statistics, Data Science, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Big Data Analytics, Cloud Computing, Business Analytics, Computational Statistics, or a closely related field from an HEC-recognized university. The terminal degree must be duly attested by HEC. In the case of a foreign qualification, an HEC equivalence certificate is mandatory.
Additional Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in university-level teaching, including online and blended learning environments.
- Proven experience in supervising MS and/or PhD research students.
- Strong research profile with publications in reputable journals and active engagement in funded research projects.
- Expertise in one or more of the following areas:
o Machine Learning and Deep Learning
o Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI
o Data Science and Advanced Analytics
o Data Mining and Big Data Technologies
o Cloud Computing and Distributed Systems
o Cyber Analytics and Digital Forensics
o Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Spatial Analytics
o Climate, Environmental, and Sustainability Analytics
o Statistical Modeling, Predictive Analytics, and Business Intelligence
- Proficiency in relevant analytical and programming tools, including Python, R, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Stata, SPSS, SAS, and cloud-based analytics platforms.
- Experience in developing industry-academia collaborations, consultancy projects, and applied research will be considered an added advantage.
- Preference will be given to candidates with relevant industry experience in data science, analytics, artificial intelligence, business intelligence, or related domains.
