University of New Brunswick (UNB), Fredericton campus is hiring Postdoctoral Fellows in Cybersecurity at the Canadian Institute for Cybersecurity (CIC). This full time postdoctoral research fellowship involves research, design, and development of cybersecurity techniques and algorithms, including information security, network security, privacy, and applied AI machine learning and natural language processing for cybersecurity. The role may include converting project requirements into technical design specifications and developing enterprise cybersecurity code.
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
- PhD in Computer Science with expertise in information and network security
- Research experience in AI, machine learning, and natural language processing for cybersecurity and privacy (or other relevant areas)
- Strong communication and writing skills
- Ability to perform independent research and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Helpful: application development using Java, Python, and or C or C plus plus
- Helpful: systems design, coding, testing, debugging, maintenance
- Helpful: experience designing and implementing large networked and security systems
