Responsibilities

  • This role sits within the client events and digital experience specialist team which is part of the wider marketing and communications function. As part of this specialist team, you will be expected to plan, organise, and execute events (physical, hybrid, and virtual), including conferences, webinars, seminars, and trade shows, involving government and industry leaders.
  • You will be expected to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, both internal and external, ensuring event objectives align with business goals.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment throughout all project phases.
  • Efficiently manage time to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Manage event budgets and negotiate contracts with vendors whilst ensuring high-quality experiences, under the supervision of the Events lead.
  • Coordinate event setup, including venue selection, catering, and AV support for events and webinars.
  • Plan, develop and manage and execute event-led marketing and client engagement campaigns and marcom activities with the objectives of encouraging event registration/sign ups, post-event publicity/visibility, and to support the key stakeholders’ relationship building.
  • The role includes developing integrated client engagement and events marketing communications materials (such as social media posts, videos and photo-taking) for distribution across multiple channels, audience segments and stakeholder groups, from conceptualisation/angling to audience planning, messaging, content development and post-event communications materials across the event lifecycle
  • Use CRM, marketing automation and event technology platforms to manage campaign delivery, track performance and support reporting
  • Monitor campaign, attendance and client feedback data to evaluate performance, support post-event follow-up and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Perform any other duties as assigned

Requirements

Core experience

  • Degree in business administration, marketing or communications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B marketing, with strong exposure to event-planning and event-led marketing, client engagement campaigns and stakeholder management, preferably within professional services
  • Experience using CRM, marketing automation and event technology platforms such as Cvent and GlobalMeet, Microsoft Teams, Salesforce or Marketing Cloud to deliver events and track performance
  • Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to craft clear, compelling and audience-relevant marketing and client engagement communications. Proficiency in Chinese is an advantage.

  • Strong project and event management capability, with the ability to plan, coordinate and manage multiple workstreams across event planning, execution, reporting and campaign delivery
  • Strong marketing and campaign delivery experience, with the ability to support the development and execution of effective campaigns and client engagement activities aligned to business priorities and audience needs
  • A keen interest in business, market and client issues and the ability to translate insight into relevant marketing activity
  • Effective communications capability across multiple channels (such as website, social media and newsletters) and audience segments, with the ability to tailor messaging, tone and format to different stakeholder groups and objectives
  • Sound analytical skills, with the ability to use campaign, digital and client feedback data to evaluate performance and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, collaborate and build trusted relationships across teams
  • Flexible approach to handle fluctuating work volumes and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Creative, collaborative and outcome-driven, with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
  • Comfortable using AI-enabled and digital tools to improve marketing productivity and workflow efficiency
  • Able to work independently and also as a team player.
