Ngā Kōrero mo tēnei tūranga / About the role

PwC’s Business Support team plays an integral part of the Internal Firm Services framework, working closely with Partners and wider teams to provide high level administrative support, client support and project coordination, whilst enabling our people and teams to perform to the highest standard. You will be at the heartbeat of our operations in our Consulting business unit in Tāmaki Makaurau / Auckland, providing high-level support to two Partners and their wider teams in a fast-paced, people-focused environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who is highly organised, energetic and forward-thinking, with a positive approach and the ability to stay one step ahead. You’ll bring a fun, engaging and professional style, confidently anticipating needs, keeping pace and making sure nothing falls through the cracks, excelling in office management and organizational tasks.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Providing proactive day-to-day support to two Partners, including inbox management, meeting co-ordination and administrative support.
  • Managing complex calendars, balancing competing priorities, and anticipating what’s needed to keep things on track.
  • Building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders – clients, Consulting teams, and internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinating frequent domestic and international travel, including complex multi-leg itineraries, accommodation, visas and travel documentation.
  • Supporting wider Consulting teams with operational requirements in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
  • Planning and coordinating client meetings, workshops and internal events, including room bookings, virtual meeting support, and catering.
  • Acting as a trusted point of contact for Partners, clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Guiding and up-skilling our teams using multiple internal systems and supporting best practice.
  • Using AI-enabled tools to streamline ways of working, support project planning and reporting, and help teams stay organised and informed.

We're looking for someone who enjoys being one step ahead, thrives on organisation, brings positive energy to their work and doesn’t miss a beat.

  • 3-5 years' experience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant or Business Assistant, ideally within a professional services or corporate environment.
  • Proven experience supporting multiple senior leaders, managing competing priorities, and working at pace.
  • Exceptional diary management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple complex calendars and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Strong proactive inbox management skills, confidently prioritising emails, anticipating actions, and managing follow-up.
  • Experience coordinating complex domestic and international travel, including detailed itineraries and logistics.
  • Excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • A proactive, solution-focused mindset with the confidence to take initiative and work independently.
  • Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills, with a collaborative and client-focused approach.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, with experience using systems such as Salesforce, Workday or similar, being advantageous.
  • The ability to quickly learn new systems, embrace new technology, and adapt to changing ways of working.
  • Confidence using AI-enabled tools to improve productivity, alongside strong project planning, tracking and reporting skills.
