This role focuses on enhancing deal value through expert financial valuation management and corporate finance advisory, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to significant mergers and acquisitions and capital market transactions, leveraging advanced financial modeling skills.

Job Description & Summary

Our team helps organisations unlock greater deal value by providing robust value opinions and transaction model business advisory. As part of the team, you’ll research financial risks, provide forecast analysis, and develop financial models that assists our team in providing fair and accurate valuation advice and ultimately helps our clients enhance their deal value.

ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Proactively assist in the management of several clients, while reporting to Managers and above
  • Train and lead staff
  • Establish effective working relationships directly with clients
  • Contribute to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen
  • Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
  • Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients
  • Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand

Requirements

  • Degree in any discipline and/or a professional accounting qualification such as the ICAEW / ACCA /MICPA-CAANZ / CPA Australia
  • 3-4 years’ work experience in financial modelling development or professional Corporate Finance experience
  • CFA candidate will be advantage
  • Strong analytical skills and an ability to understand key business drivers
  • Strong leadership, teamwork and client servicing skills
  • Strong communication skills in both oral and written English
  • 6 months or more experience in areas like statistical modelling and/or financial derivatives modelling is an added advantage
