Key Responsibilities
- Source and procure IT hardware, software, and accessories based on business needs.
- Contact and coordinate with authorized vendors, distributors, and brand partners for quotations, pricing, and stock availability.
- Compare quotations, negotiate terms , and finalize purchase orders to ensure cost-effective procurement.
- Manage procurement documentation, maintain a supplier database , and track purchase orders efficiently.
- Follow up on orders, deliveries, and invoices to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment .
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to support long-term business goals.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (IT, Finance, Operations) to confirm requirements and ensure smooth order execution.
- Monitor inventory levels and support restocking processes according to project demands.
- Stay informed about IT market trends, product launches, and pricing developments.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and standards .
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in procurement within an IT company (UAE experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of IT products, brands, and suppliers .
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with ERP/procurement software .
- Highly organized, detail-oriented , and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
