Role Overview:

The post is locum, based primarily at the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre, Peshawar, Pakistan.
This is a post for a highly motivated and committed individual to undertake a key role as a locum consultant breast/ oncoplastic surgeon in the department of surgical oncology at SKMCH&RC, Peshawar. The appointee will be required to provide surgical expertise in the management of breast cancer patients and to work with and support the established multidisciplinary site specific teams, as appropriate. Additionally, the appointee will be required to undertake research projects and publish in indexed journals.

Eligibility / Qualification Required:

• FRCS (UK, Canada, Australia) with CCT in general & breast/ oncoplastic surgery and / or evidence of satisfactory completion of sub-specialty training in breast surgery.
• American board certification in Surgery, with further fellowship in breast/ oncoplastic surgery.
• Full Registration with PMC.
• Excellent verbal communication and computer skills.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
