Job Description:

Assist in the collection of soiled linens, help to wash, dry, and fold them, and then delivers clean linens to hospital departments.
Collect soiled linens from designated areas and sort them by type, size, and level of contamination to prepare them for washing.
Fold clean linens and other items, and may use steam presses or ironers to press bedclothes.
Clean and maintain the laundry room area and equipment, including daily cleaning of dryer filters.
Maintain accurate counts and records of linen and uniform stock, documenting usage.
