This advertisement is issued by the Directorate of Colleges, Karachi Region, for recruiting eligible candidates for various positions in government-controlled colleges across the Karachi Region, as per government rules. A total of 15 days will be given for submission of applications from the date of advertisement.
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
- Age: Minimum 18 years, Maximum 28 years.
- Qualification: Intermediate in Sciences with good grades.
- Computer knowledge is mandatory from the Intermediate Education Board.
- Total 07 posts available.
How to Apply:
- Eligible candidates can apply online through the Sindh Job Portal at https://sjp.sindh.gov.pk.
- After applying online, candidates must submit a hard copy of their application along with required documents to the Directorate of Colleges, Karachi Region.
- The last date for application submission is 16-10-2024.
- Candidates must ensure that all required documents are attested.
General Conditions:
- Only candidates domiciled in Karachi Region are eligible to apply.
- Government/Semi-Government employees must apply through proper channel.
- Age relaxation will be provided as per Government of Sindh rules.
- The recruitment process will be as per the Sindh Civil Servants (Appointment, Promotion and Transfer) Rules, 2024 (dated 16-10-2024) for age relaxation and other concessions.
- A General Screening Test was conducted by Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC) / IBA Sukkur in 2023 for Intermediate and Assistant positions.
- Candidates who passed the SPSC / IBA Sukkur General Screening Test 2023 and the General Screening Test conducted by Sindh Government (SGA&CD) in 2011 as per letter number SO(SGA&CD)/S-64/2011 dated 2/12/2025 are eligible.
- A total of 40 marks will be given for the General Screening Test.
- Candidates who have already applied for these posts via the SPSC portal, and also those who applied directly through the Directorate of Colleges Karachi, must re-apply.
- Candidates who have already passed the SPSC / IBA Sukkur General Screening Test 2023 or the Sindh Government's General Screening Test 2011 (SO(SGA&CD)/S-64/2011 dated 2/12/2025) are eligible to apply.
- The final decision for selection will be made by the Departmental Selection Committee as per the Sindh Civil Servants Act 1973.
- Original documents must be presented at the time of interview.
- No TA/DA will be admissible for test/interview.
- The list of eligible candidates who passed the IBA Sukkur / Sindh Testing Service (SIS) test for the Directorate of Colleges, Karachi Region, published on 15 March 2023 will be considered for interviews.
- The Sindh Government SPSC / IBA Sukkur General Screening Test 2023 and the General Screening Test conducted by Sindh Government (SGA&CD) 2011 are valid.
- Age limit relaxation will be given as per government rules.
- Applicants who passed the SPSC / IBA Sukkur General Screening Test 2023 or the general screening test 2011 (SO(SGA&CD)/S-64/2011 dated 2/12/2025) are eligible.
- The date for test and interview is 21-11-2025.
