Your mission within our fast-growing VAT practice is to oversee the VAT compliance obligations and filings for a portfolio of local and international clients from different industries. You will provide VAT technical advice and practical assistance covering domestic and cross-border transactions and operations. You will be part of a team delivering high value-added services by using constantly evolving tailored tax technology combined with deep technology expertise. Key responsibilities include building client relationships, managing service delivery, supporting clients during VAT audits, coaching junior team members, contributing to process improvements, and staying abreast of changes in local and European VAT legislations.
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
- At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar position, in an accounting firm or a tax consultancy firm – In Luxembourg or abroad.
- Strong accounting and tax knowledge, especially in VAT.
- Excellent organisational and people skills.
- Critical thinking, disciplined, display professional scepticism, and show initiative.
- Fluency in English.
- Knowledge of German and/or French is considered as an asset.
