Eligibility / Qualification Required:
Batterjee Medical College is seeking a qualified and motivated
Faculty Member in Community Nursing to join the
Nursing Program. The role focuses on delivering high-quality academic and clinical education, promoting community health practices, and preparing nursing students to provide patient-centered care across diverse community and public health settings.
Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching & Clinical Education- Deliver Community Nursing lectures, tutorials, laboratory sessions, and clinical training
- Supervise students during community and public health clinical rotations
- Facilitate case-based learning, health promotion activities, and community assessment projects
- Teach evidence-based nursing practices related to community and public health care
- Utilize LMS (Blackboard) and digital teaching tools effectively
- Prepare and administer assessments, assignments, and clinical evaluations
- Maintain accurate academic and clinical records
Student Support & Development- Provide academic advising and mentorship to nursing students
- Support development of health education, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Monitor student performance and provide constructive feedback
Research & Scholarly Activities- Participate in research, academic conferences, and scholarly activities
- Contribute to curriculum development and continuous program improvement
Academic Quality & Compliance- Ensure compliance with academic policies and accreditation standards (e.g., NCAAA)
- Participate in quality assurance activities, committees, and program reporting
- Submit course files and required academic documentation on time
Community Engagement- Participate in healthcare awareness campaigns, outreach initiatives, and public health programs aligned with the college mission
- Support partnerships with healthcare centers, schools, and community organizations
Requirements
- Master’s or PhD in Nursing with specialization in Community Nursing / Public Health Nursing
- Valid professional nursing license/registration
- Clinical experience in community or public health nursing required
- Teaching experience in nursing education preferred
- Familiarity with simulation-based teaching and educational technologies
- Experience with LMS (Blackboard) and digital learning platforms
