Role Overview:
The post is full-time, based primarily at the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre, Lahore, Pakistan.
This is a post for a highly motivated and committed individual to undertake a key role as a full time Consultant Breast/Oncoplastic Surgeon in the Department of Surgical Oncology at SKMCH&RC. The appointee is expected to provide breast surgical expertise in the management of cancer patients and will be expected to collaborate with other surgeons, anesthetists, oncologists and others in the multi-disciplinary care of cancer patients. The post-holder will be expected to work with and support the established multidisciplinary site specific teams, as appropriate, and will also be expected to take part in a full general surgical training programme, as well as in training postgraduate fellows in surgical oncology.
Eligibility / Qualification Required:
- FRCS with CCST in Breast/Oncoplastic Surgery and / or evidence of satisfactory completion of sub-specialty training in Breast Surgery.
- American Board in Surgery, with further Fellowship in Breast/Oncoplastic Surgery.
- Full Registration with the PMDC.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
